Iconic scenery photographed on the Mile 13 Mark on US Hwy 163. It was a perfect April morning to photograph at this location. This amazing backdrop of the American southwest could be found only 13 miles north of the Arizona / Utah border. Some of the sandstone buttes in Monument Valley reach a height of 1000ft over the valley floor.
